Megastar Chiranjeevi's Shankardada Zindabad's shooting going on at a fast pace. The production is in a continuous schedule until May 13,2007 by which the talkie part of the film will be done. Starting from May 15, 2007, the unit is planning to go to Australia to shoot three songs. After that two songs are planned in India.
NRI model Karishma Kotak is the heroine of the film. As you know this is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Lage Raho Munnabhai. This film would have Chiranjeevi playing the lead role as Shankar Prasad and Srikanth in a supporting role as A.T.M (Any Time Murder). Karishma Kotak will be playing the role of actress Vidya Balan. Sadha will be essaying the role played by Dia Mirza in the original while Sayaji Shinde will be playing the role that Boman Irani played. Hero Raja will be playing the role that Jimmy Sherghil was playing in the original. Pawan Kalyan is acting in this film in a special appearance. Film is expected to be released by the end of June.
Prabhu Deva is the director of the film, story is by Rajkumar Hirani , dialogues are by Paruchuri Brothers, music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Chota K. Naidu , choreography by Prabhu Deva , and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. The film is produced under the banner Gemini Film Circuit.
