Ghantasala Balaramaiah

Ghantasala Balaramaiah was born in 1906 in Pottepalem. He started his career as a stage singer. He produced the film 'Seetarama Jananam' under the banner Pratiba Pictures which is the debut film of Akkineni Nageshwar Rao. He directed the film 'Sri Lakshmamma Katha' (1950) and completed it within five weeks. He also acted in 'Sati Tulasi' (1936) and 'Ramadasu' (1933). He is the brother of Ghantasala Radhakrishnaiah.
