K.V. Reddy

Kadri Venkata Reddy was born on July 1, 1912 in Tadipatri. He was a Director, Writer, Producer and Production Manager of Telugu films. He joined the film industry when his friend/producer Narayana Swamy Moola offered him the job of cashier for the movie Grihalakshmi (1938). His first directorial film was 'Bhakta Potana' (1942). He also directed the movies like 'Yogi Vemana', 'Guna Sundari Katha', 'Pathala Bhairavi', and 'Mayabazaar'.
