Government of India gives 'Dada Saheb Phalke Award' to the persons who have contributed very much to the Indian film industry every year. In the same way, Andhra Pradesh Government has started giving 'Raghupati Venkaiah Naidu Award' to the persons for their contribution to the Telugu Film Industry every year from 1980 onwards. L. V. Prasad was the first person to receive this prestigious award in 1980. The persons who received this award are:
