Simran Bagga is popular as Simran. Her original name is Rishibala and was born on 4th April 1976, in Mumbai. Her mother tongue is Punjabi. She made her debut appearance on the screen with ‘Sirf Thum’ but shot into limelight with ‘Tere Mere Sapne’. She later on moved south to the Tamil movie industry and Telugu movie industry.

Her first movie in Telugu is ‘Indra Prastham’, which was a failure. However, she earned a good name with ‘Maa Naannaku Pelli’. Some of her hit movies include Kalisundam Raa, Nuvvuvasthavani, Samarasimha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu etc.

In 2004, she married to Deepak Bagga, her childhood friend and gave birth to a boy on June 13, 2005 and currently resides in Delhi. She is presently doing an important role in a film, ‘Okka Magaadu’ opposite Balakrishna.
