Meera Chopra was born on 8th july in Delhi. Her father's name is Sudesh Chopra and mother's name is Neelam Chopra. Her brother's name is Vikram Chopra and Sister Timsy Chopra. She did her schooling in Presentation Convent School, Delhi and college in Michigan, USA.
After her education in US, she came back to her country looking for some full fledged work in mass media and joined the NDTV. She debuted in films by Anbe Aaruyire (2005) a Tamil film directed by S.J. Suryah. She acted in the Telugu movie 'Bangaram' (2006) starring Pawan Kalyan, directed by Dharani and produced by A.M. Ratnam. Her next movie in Telugu was 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' starring Nitin.
