Amisha Patel was born on June 9, 1977 in Bombay. Her full name is Amisha Amit Patel. Her father's name is Amit Patel and mother's name is Asha Patel. She has a brother named Ashmit Patel is now pursuing his graduation. She did her schooling from Cathedral High School and graduation in Economics from Tufts University (Boston). She worked in a financial company for many days while practicing her modeling.
Her first film is a Hindi film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai in the year 2000 with Hrithik as hero and director Mr.Rakesh Roshan. In telugu, her first film is Badri where she played a role of Sarayu with Pavan kalyan as hero and Prakash raj as the Brother of Amisha. Her second film in Telugu is Naani with Mahesh Babu.
For the film Kaho Na Pyar Hai she has got Kalashree “Sensational Discovery” in the year 2000. She also won best female debut award for the same film in 2000. She also won Sansui best debut and best face of the year award for the film Kaho Na Pyar Hai.
