Preeti Jhangiani was born on August 18, 1980. Preeti started modeling while studying in HR College in Mumbai. Her mother was the principal of the college. Preeti started getting many offers for TV commercials. Her first film in Telugu is Thammudu starring Pawan Kalyan.
Preeti shot to fame with a music video Chui Mui produced by Rajshri Productions. Preeti was spotted in the video by Filmmaker Aditya Chopra, who signed her for his movie Mohaabtien.She made her Bollywood debut in 2000 with Mohabbatein.
